What is Grain Spawn?
Grain spawn is sterilized grain (like corn) that has been fully colonized by mushroom mycelium. It serves as the “starter” or inoculant you mix into bulk substrate to grow mushrooms.
Why Use Grain Spawn?

How to Use
Break up the colonized grain and mix it into pasteurized bulk substrate at a 1:2 to 1:4 ratio. Allow it to fully colonize, then introduce fruiting conditions.
